Ascend Mind and Body is a rapidly growing, multi\-specialty medical practice ... Primary Care/Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Talk Therapy ... delivering in person and telehealth services across the state of Florida. We are seeking a fractional or part\-time Healthcare Controller to perform detailed accounting at the provider and practice levels so as to understand how each provider and practice are contributing to the overall health of our growing platform. Important: The ideal candidate will come from the medical industry and have experience in accurately accounting for profit and loss at the provider level which implies accounting for and applying shared costs with a high degree of thoughtfulness and integrity and communicating the details in such a way that makes sense to the providers and the business partners. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success with P\&L accounting with 10 or more providers and with multiple locations ... and be prepared to scale to over 50 providers and 10 locations.
Duties
- Monthly financial statements
- Provider\-specific P\&Ls
- Financial analysis and management reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Compliance and tax reporting
- Bank reconciliation
- Payroll review
- KPI dashboards
- Suggesting and potentially executing on cost saving measures
- Other operational and HR duties as needed and as the practices perform and grow
Requirements
- Proven track record of accounting and financial planning and analysis for a growth oriented multi\-location, mult\-provider practice
- Willingness to work part time while the practice grows
- Excellent references
- Deep expertise in medical practice accounting and financial management
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience and hours worked
- Potential for full time and very significant increases in compensation and for executive level equity plan (stock appreciation rights) ... based on performance
Pay: $80,000\.00 \- $96,488\.78 per year
