Job Title: Part\-Time Controller

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and reliable Part\-Time Bookkeeper to handle essential financial tasks and maintain accurate records. This is a contractor role. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Position Overview:
Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Oversee QuickBooks
- Invocing
- Review payroll and labor costs
- Reconcile accounts
- Coordinate with CPA and tax professionals
Reporting
- Prepare monthly P\&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Provide monthly financial analysis to ownership
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Budgeting \& Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets
- Maintain cash flow forecasts
- Monitor actual results against budget
KPI Management
- Track enrollment, retention, conversion rates, and payroll metrics
- Create executive dashboards
- Analyze profitability by program and division
Operational Support
- Improve financial and reporting systems
- Establish internal controls
- Support management with data\-driven decision making
Qualifications
- QuickBooks Online experience
- Advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills
- Experience preparing financial statements
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with education, childcare, camps, or service businesses preferred
Position Details
- Part\-Time
- Remote
- Approximately 5–15 hours per month initially
- Reports directly to Owner
Compensation
- $60–$80\+ per hour depending on experience
